Yolanda N. Wang

I am a Registered Dietitian and an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Personal Trainer. I graduated from UBC with a Dietetics Major and Kinesiology Minor degree.

Currently, I'm working at BC Brain Wellness Program at UBC as a research dietitian. My main role is to develop recipes for Ketogenic diets and Mediterranean diets, and provide one-on-one nutrition education and follow-ups to our participants, as well as work with local chefs to provide cooking classes.

Previously, I have worked as a Registered Dietitian at BC Children's and Women's Hospitals and multiple Long Term Care facilities, and as a personal trainer/fitness instructor at UBC Recreation Center.

Working with my clients to develop a healthy and satisfying lifestyle is my passion. I believe nutrition and exercise are two important parts of overall well-being. With my interest and experience in dancing, swimming, and running, I know the importance of cross-training and a well-rounded program for performance improvement.

Nutrition and exercise are important for people at different life stages, with different health and socioeconomic status. I am determined to tailor programs to accommodate your needs and health goals!

我是一名加拿大注册营养师,美国运动医学学会注册私人健身教练。我毕业于英属哥伦比亚大学(UBC),主修营养学,辅修运动机能学,获得荣誉学士。

目前作为UBC的BC省脑健康项目的注册营养师,帮助实验项目整理设计菜谱 (生酮饮食,地中海饮食),为实验参与者提供一对一的营养辅导和后续跟进,也与本地厨师一起提供营养烹饪课程。

过去曾于BC省妇女儿童医院以及多个养老院任职临床营养师。也在UBC任职健身教练及运动老师。

我的热情是与我的客户一起养成健康又令人满足的生活习惯。我相信饮食与运动是健康的两大支柱。根据我以往跳舞,游泳,跑步的经验,我知道交叉训练(多元化训练)的重要性,也知道全面的运动与饮食计划可以起到的关键性作用。

营养与运动在生命中的每个阶段,对不同健康程度或社会阶级的人,都有极其重要的意义。我致力于根据客户的具体情况与需要,提供最合适的项目与建议。
